PRAXIS II Tests: An Orientation

Testing Accommodations

ETS provides detailed instructions and specific forms in the Registration Bulletin (www.ets.org/PRAXIS) for examinees who are requesting nonstandard testing accommodations.

Kentucky administers tests according to the policies prescribed by ETS concerning special conditions and arrangements for individuals with special needs. Applicants need to refer to the ETS Registration Bulletin for specific information and instructions. Any resident of the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico with a physical, emotional, or learning disability that would prevent him/her from taking the tests under normal conditions may request special arrangements from ETS.

Examinees with special needs are assigned to specific testing centers that can provide the required accommodations. ETS provides services and reasonable accommodations that are appropriate given the purpose of the test. Nonstandard testing accommodations are available for test takers with disabilities who meet ETS requirements. If you are requesting nonstandard testing accommodations, you must register by mail through ETS and have your accommodations approved prior to testing.
