Kentucky Special Education Cooperatives
There are several special education cooperatives funded by the Kentucky Department of Education. Their mission is to enhance the opportunities and outcomes of students by providing effective leadership and delivering specialized services in partnership with the Kentucky Department of Education, local school districts, institutes of higher education, and other service providers. The Special Education Cooperatives provide teacher professional development, teacher support, reference materials, assessment tools and other services.
